Nebraska Cornhuskers Announce Player Representatives

Nebraska Cornhuskers coach Matt Rhule will be joined by three player representatives at Big Ten Football Media Days.

The event runs from July 28-30 in Chicago.

What are the player representatives?

The Huskers will be represented by seniors Justin Evans, Luke Lindenmeyer, and Andrew Marshall.

Justin Evans has 38 career appearances and 31 starts on Nebraska's offensive line.

He started all 13 games in 2025, blocking for standout running back Emmett Johnson.

Why were these players chosen?

Luke Lindenmeyer is entering his fifth season, having played high school football at Papillion-La Vista.

He started all 13 games in 2025, finishing with 29 receptions for 312 yards and two touchdowns.

Andrew Marshall transferred from Idaho ahead of the 2025 season and started all 13 games at cornerback.

He recorded 45 tackles, one interception, and four pass breakups, earning honorable mention All-Big Ten honors.

What's next for the Nebraska Cornhuskers?

Nebraska is one of six teams scheduled to speak on the third day of the event.

The Cornhuskers' next game is against the Ohio Bobcats on September 5, 2026.

And with the player representatives announced, fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the season.

But before that, the team will participate in Big Ten Media Days, where they will discuss their expectations and goals.

So the upcoming event will be an important opportunity for the team to showcase their skills and strategy.

The Cornhuskers are looking to make a strong impression in the 2026 season, and the player representatives will play a key role in this effort.
